Isaac Sowells is considered one of Indiana's top prospects to move on to the NFL. The senior left tackle started the first four games of 2004 before his year was cut short with a season-ending wrist injury. Sowells had been an anchor on the offensive line, having started 16 straight games before his injury. He ranked second on the team in total snaps played as a sophomore in 2003 and was on the field for 967 snaps of game action as a sophomore, including a season-high 93 at Penn State.
Junior return specialist Lance Bennett recently answered five questions from IUHOOSIERS.COM, now it is Sowell's turn.
What person has most influenced your football career and why?
Reggie White - by far my favorite football player. When I really got into football I watched him. It was just the way he carried himself on and off the field.
I chose Indiana because...
I felt it was the best place for me, and I love the Big Ten. Pound for pound it is the best conference in the nation.
My dream date...
Beyonce Knowles (hands down)
My best friend on another college football team...
Marcus Green - he starts at defensive tackle at Ohio State.
What is the one message you have for potential IU football recruits?
This place is going in the right direction, so come here to experience it.
