Indiana University Athletics Selects Collegiate Travel Specialists

Bloomington, Ind. - Indiana University has named Anthony Travel as the Official Travel Partner of Indiana University Athletics. Beginning this academic year, Anthony Travel will provide all travel arrangements for the Hoosier Athletic Department including air, hotel, bus, car, charter and hospitality needs for teams, coaches, administration and staff.
"Anthony Travel has distinguished themselves with an extraordinarily high record of service with other schools," said Athletic Director Rick Greenspan. "This new relationship provides our athletic department the opportunity to make more affordable travel arrangements by utilizing the benefits and expertise of Anthony Travel in collegiate athletic travel, as well as create greater efficiencies within our department. We are enthusiastic about our partnership with Anthony Travel, and look forward to the savings and benefits that will result from their efforts."
Indiana becomes the 11th institution, and second Big Ten Conference member, to designate Anthony Travel as a year-round travel partner. Anthony Travel, a full-service travel management company, provides travel services to many of the nations most prestigious universities such as the University of Notre Dame, Stanford University Athletics, University of North Carolina Athletics, Purdue University Athletics and Princeton University.

Indiana University became a member of the Big Ten Conference in 1899. Since that time, the Hoosiers have collected 24 NCAA Championship titles and 157 Big 10 titles. The Indiana athletic program includes more than 600 male and female student-athletes on 24 varsity teams.
Other collegiate clients of Anthony Travel include the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), four conference offices and the SBC Cotton Bowl Classic. The company is also the official travel partner for the Harlem Globetrotters, Ford Ironman® World Championships, National Senior Games Association, Disney's Wide World of Sports® Complex and a host of other top amateur sports organizations around the country.
