Koehler Earns Second Gold at Speedo Zones

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Rising freshman John Kevin Koehler snagged his second gold medal of the Speedo Champions Series Central Zone Section 3 meet held at the Counsilman-Billingsley Aquatic Center in Bloomington, Ind. The Springfield, Ohio, native blew through the water in the 200 LCM freestyle to touch in a senior national cut time of 1:53.93
Additionally, Koehler finished sixth in a time of 4:43.70 in the 400 IM, while redshirt freshman Norman Ference placed 13th in 4:44.10.
