IU Media Relations Scores Nine CoSIDA Awards

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana Athletics media relations secured nine College Sports Information Directors of America Publications Contest awards in the early going of the recognition processed, as announced by CoSIDA June 6. IU scored five best in nation awards as well as a pair of top five rankings and a pair of district honors.
Consequently, four publication awards (cross country, field hockey, men's soccer, women's water polo) and one cover award (women's rowing cover) comprised IU's best in the nation laurels. Meanwhile, field hockey also placed fifth in the nation in the combined single sports rankings, while track and field claimed the District V crown, women's golf finished second in District V and women's volleyball took third in District V.
