Batty Advances to Finals of ITA's Midwest Summer Circuit

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Hoosier Sarah Batty advanced to the finals of ITA's Midwest Summer Circuit with a hard fought win over Western Michigan's Carrie Jeanmaire.

After a tough 6-4 win in the first set, Batty dropped the second set 3-6 as the heat began to set in at IU's Varsity Tennis Center. Batty turned it on in the third set to defeat Jeanmaire 1-0(2) and take the match.

Batty will face hard-hitting Allison Silverio from Georgia Tech who also was victorious in three sets over Wisconsin's Caitlin Burke. Batty and Silverio square off at 12:30.
