Bloomington, Ind.-- Junior Sarah McKay and the Canadian National Team claimed its first win at the World University Games with a dominating, 75-19 win against Lebanon on Thursday. McKay notched two points and grabbed three rebounds in the victory.

Canada raced out to a 37-9 lead in the second quarter, leaving no room for Lebanon to catch up the rest of the way. Lebanon committed 30 turnovers compared to Canada's 17 throughout the game and were out-rebounded 55-28.

McKay is one of eight student-athletes representing Indiana at the World University games in Turkey. The 6-7 center for the Hoosiers, averaged 4.5 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game during the 2004-05 season.
