IU Volleyball to Participate in Intrasquad Scrimmage

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University volleyball squad will open up the 2005 season with an intrasquad scrimmage tomorrow at 3 p.m., in the University Gym. The mixture of newcomers and veterans alike are excited about the chance to compete in a controlled contest prior to opening up the season for real on August 27.

The IU Credit Union Invitational will follow the scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 27, as the Hoosiers welcome Indiana State and Western Kentucky to Bloomington. IU faces off against ISU at 11 a.m., before battling WKU at 7 p.m. The Sycamores and Lady Toppers will serve as the middle match at 3:30 p.m.
