Big Ten Media Day Two Recap

CHICAGO - Head coach Terry Hoeppner, offensive guard Adam Hines, middle linebacker John Pannozzo and running back Chris Taylor concluded their two-day stay in Chicago by attending the Big Ten Kickoff Luncheon at the Hyatt in downtown Chicago on Tuesday afternoon. After meeting and addressing local, regional and national media on Monday afternoon, the quartet met with the print and radio media before attending the luncheon with ABC Sports' Gary Danielson serving as the master of ceremonies.
On Monday, Hoeppner opened the morning taping a public service announcement for the Big Ten before addressing the media in a 15-minute question-and-answer segment. As Hoeppner spoke with the media, the players sat down for interviews with ESPN Plus and later joined their coach for one-on-one sessions with the television media.
The quartet moved onto interviews with ESPN GameDay before Hoeppner concluded the afternoon with an interview for ESPN Plus.
When the Hoosiers return to Bloomington they will be days away from reporting to their first training camp under Hoeppner. The players will arrive in Bloomington on Sunday, Aug. 7, before officially beginning practice the following day.
Indiana opens the season on Friday, Sept. 2, in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., against the Chippewas of Central Michigan. Kick off is slated for 7:30 p.m. (EST) and the contest will be televised on ESPNU.
On Sept. 10, the Hoosiers open the home portion of their schedule with a showdown against Nicholls State at 4 p.m.
