BLOOMINGTON, Ind.- - The women's soccer team will end its preseason schedule on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 12 p.m., with a match against Valparaiso (0-0, 0-0 Mid-Continent) at Yeagley Field at Armstrong Stadium in Bloomington, Ind. The Hoosiers (0-0, 0-0 Big Ten) are coming off a preseason win against Memphis on Friday night, where Indiana wrapped up the match with a 5-0 shutout.
Leading the Hoosier offensive explosion were four different IU players tallying goals. Sophomore Kristin Radcliffe posted two goals during the Hoosiers' match against the Memphis Tigers, leading all players.
Tallying two assists on the night was junior Megan Pipkens, while the entire healthy Hoosier roster made an appearance during IU's first preseason game.
Sunday's challenger, the Crusaders, boast a squad that finished 10-8-2 overall, and 3-3 in the Mid-Continent in 2004. The 500 mark was good enough for a tied for third-place finish in conference play last season.
The two will get underway at Armstrong Stadium at noon on Sunday.
