How have your first few months in Bloomington been so far?
They have been fun and busy. I love the town because it a nice `happy medium'....not too big, not too small. Everyone here has been friendly, helpful and has definitely shared our excitement about the future of Hoosier Women's Basketball.
What are you most looking forward to this season?
I'm looking forward to practice and getting the season underway. I think we have a great group of young ladies who are eager to turn things around. It's going to be great to finally get a chance to work with them on the floor.
What is your coaching style/philosophy?
I'm all about energy, enthusiasm, being competitive and working hard and having fun doing it! The style of basketball that I like is one where we're pushing the ball and creating easy offense to defense (which happens to be in-your-face-I-know-what-flavor-your-gum-is defense) and pounding the boards.
What can you say about the other members of the coaching staff?
Maaaaaaaaaaan! I don't even know where to begin with this question! Coming in I knew Coach V because she recruited me out of high school and was my position coach for a year at JMU. She's always been a mentor for me and I admire her passion for the game, her competitive nature and the compassion she shows toward her players. I'm excited about the opportunity to work with her. Coach Benner and Coach Clapp, I'd met before, but never really knew. What a pleasant surprise they have been! They're hard workers and also very entertaining. I think as a staff we have great chemistry and compliment each other very well.

Favorite Food: CHICKEN!!!! (me and chicken are like Bubba and Shrimp)
CD currently in your CD player: Ipod...my baby. So, I have a couple of playlists that I beat up. Right now my artist is Anthony Hamilton and my repeat song at the moment is "Like You' by Bow Wow and Ciara
