Taylor's Camp Journal: Day 2

Running back Chris Taylor enters his last preseason camp as a Hoosier. In 2004, Taylor played in all 11 games and finished the season with 329 yards on 82 carries. In the backfield for the past two years, Taylor has averaged 4.0 yards per carry.
Taylor is keeping an online journal on IUHOOSIERS.com of preseason camp. Below is his second entry after Tuesday's practice:
Overall, today was a good day. We were in the same routine as yesterday. I think a lot of guys were a little sluggish today. Everybody's legs are getting a little tired toward the end of camp.
Today, we went against the scout team and started preparing for Central Michigan. We looked strong and are grasping what we are going to do against them.
I think the offense looked strong today. Everybody is starting to gel together, and we are starting to become an offense. Personally, I think I am running my tracks better and reading the offensive line's blocks better.
Like yesterday, I liked the intensity and the enthusiasm out here. We are getting better and better each day. We are going to be a good team to watch. We have strengths all over. Every position has a lot of depth. We have some young receivers, but they have a lot of talent. We are a strong overall team this year.
As the season opener gets closer, I am looking forward to it more and more. It's been what we have been working toward since the last game of the season. We are ready to go, and I can't wait.
