Softball Announces 2005-06 Schedule

The Hoosiers begin the fall season at the Chicagoland Classic.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana softball team announced its 2005-06 schedule today, which features three tournaments during the fall season. The Hoosiers will officially open their 2006 campaign with a trip to Oklahoma City, Okla., to participate in the University of Oklahoma Tournament Feb. 17-19.

IU is scheduled to play its first home game against Louisville on March 7, before hitting the road again for the Florida State Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla., on March 10-12. The Hoosiers will begin league play at home with a series against Ohio State on March 31 and April 1, followed by a doubleheader against Penn State on April 2.
