BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-Junior Marcus Aguilar checked in with IUHOOSIERS.com to talk about the first few weeks of being back on campus.

The first two weeks of practice have been filled with meetings, paperwork and lots of miles on the roads. The first week of official practice went very quickly and it was great to finally run with some of my teammates I had not seen since the end of outdoor track season.

We just returned from our annual cross country camp at Chain O' Lakes State Park this week in Ft. Wayne. While we were there, we put in a lot of quality miles and got to know our freshmen class. Since there are seven freshmen, they make up one third of our team. Camp provided a great way to help them become part of the team.

Training is going well for the team and we are looking forward to a very exciting and difficult season. I am especially anticipating my first race, since it has been close to two years since my last cross country race.
