Once Demon Deacons, Now Hoosiers

While at Wake Forest, Robertson coached the team to 27 wins and one NCAA tournament appearance in 1999, before coming to IU 2000 to take over the new program. Cameron joined her former coach at Indiana in 2004.
Before coming to Indiana to help further expand and develop the growing program, Cameron was one of Wake Forest's most decorated student-athletes. The three-time NCAA National Champions are nationally known for producing some of the best field hockey in the country, and Cameron's name can be found all over Wake Forest record books. While a Demon Deacon, she led the program to three NCAA tournament births, including two Final Four appearances in Cameron's final two years.
A three-year letterwinner for the gold and black, Cameron was named the ACC Player of the Year in 2001, a NFHCA third team All-American in 2000, three-time All-ACC selection, two-time All-ACC Tournament Team member and a 2000 NFHCA All-South Region first team pick. Additionally, Cameron was a finalist for the Honda Broderick Award, which is given annually to the National Field Hockey Player of the Year.
Cameron's accomplishments stretched beyond the field. Cameron earned her bachelor's degree in sociology from Wake Forest and was named to the All-ACC Academic Honor Roll in 2001.
"I coached Jemima for a year at Wake," Robertson said. "She is such a competitor and as a player, she hates to lose. She is one of the hardest working athletes I have ever coached, and she has a true love for the game. I am glad to have her on my sideline, that's for sure. As a coach, she is so incredibly tactful and sees things on the field that no one else sees. She is tremendously organized and demands a lot out of our players and this program. Jemima is compassionate about building this program into a championship caliber program."
