Gerling, Short Named to Winthrop Invitational All-Tourney Team

ROCK HILL, S.C. - Senior outside hitter Rachel Gerling and freshman outside hitter Erica Short were named to the Winthrop Invitational All-Tournament Team in a post-event ceremony in Rock Hill, S.C.

The nod is the third this season for Gerling as she earned all-tourney accolades at the IU Credit Union Invitational and the Bama Bash. The honor is the first for Short in her maiden season as a Hoosier.

Indiana returns home next weekend for the TIS Bookstore Invitational Sept. 16-17 at the University Gym in Bloomington, Ind., before opening Big Ten play at home against Michigan State.
