You Can Still Purchase 2005 IU Football Season Tickets

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - As Indiana prepares to host long-time rival Kentucky on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium (5:45 p.m. EST/CDT), Hoosier fans have an opportunity to catch that game, as well as four Big Ten home games against Illinois, No. 9/9 Ohio State, Minnesota and No. 12/11 Purdue this season.
Season tickets for Indiana's five remaining home games remain on sale for $140 per public ticket, $40 per youth ticket and $40 per IU student ticket. And when you consider that Hoosier season ticket sales have increased 33 percent overall and 96 percent among IU student tickets, head coach Terry Hoeppner encourages you to reserve your seat in The Rock.
"I've been saying `Crowds help win games' all summer, and our students proved that to be true last Saturday in our win over Nicholls State," said Hoeppner. "We need an even bigger home field advantage this Saturday when the Kentucky Wildcats come to the ROCK. Get your tickets, come early for the WALK, and stay late to sing the fight song with us after we win."
This Saturday's game is the Annual Youth Football Day. This is the perfect way for youth football players to be a part of Coach Hoeppner's first season as head coach of the Hoosiers. Prior to the game, players 12 and under will be able to participate in the 2005 Punt, Pass and Kick Competition (weather permitting). Preliminaries will take place from 2:45 p.m. until 4:45 p.m. on the practice fields north of Memorial Stadium. Finals in three different age groups will occur on the field at halftime of the football game. No pre-registration is necessary, simply come to the practice fields before 4:45 p.m. and you will be guaranteed a spot.
