BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Coming off an incredible five-game conquest of Michigan, the Indiana volleyball team will look to conclude its six-match homestand at 4-2 with a contest against Evansville on Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. IU's final non-conference battle will take place at the University Gym.
Indiana is 2-0 versus the Purple Aces, as the intra-state squads rarely face each other. The Hoosiers opened the series with a dominant 3-0 (15-1, 15-4, 15-2) win on Sept. 7, 1993, before blanking Evansville 3-0 (30-19, 30-21, 30-19) on Sept. 7, 2002. Ironically, the Sept. 27 match is the only time IU has not faced the Purple Aces on Sept. 7.
Upon completion of the Evansville contest, IU heads out on the road for a two-match road trip against Ohio State and Penn State. The Hoosiers battle Ohio State on Sept. 30 at 7 p.m., before taking on Penn State on Oct. 1 at 8 p.m.
