BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - IUHOOSIERS.com recently asked the 2005 Indiana Volleyball squad a series of questions. The third in the series is freshman outside hitter Carrie Deal.
Why did you choose to come to IU?
It is close to all the people that I love.
What do you plan to do when you complete collegiate competition?
I would really like to coach someday.
What is the word most others would use to describe you?
Outgoing.
If your home was burning down and your family, friends and pets were safe, what one personal belonging would you save and why?
I would save my grandmother's ring because my grandfather gave it to me before he passed away and it means a lot to me.
Are you superstitious about anything in your sport? If so, what are some of your rituals?
I have to have the same routine before each game: eat the same foods, warm-up the same, wear the same socks and kneepads.
