Sophomore forward Kate O'Connell enters her second season for Indiana. The St. Louis, Mo., native played in all 17 games in 2004. O'Connell tallied four points last season, including two goals. O'Connell registered the game-winning goal against New Hampshire.
O'Connell recently sat down with IUHOOSIERS.com so fans can get to know her.
Favorite thing about IU field hockey:
All the fun we have.
How and why did you start playing field hockey:
When I was little, my mom coached and I was at all of the games. I had a little stick and I have played ever since.
Funniest person on the team:
Morgan Miller because of the spring trip in Louisville...enough said.
