IUHOOSIERS.com sat down with freshman men's golfer Drew Allenspach to see what he thinks of IU and his new team.
The practice facility is awesome. It is one of the best tools in the country. To be able to come out here and practice on it is a privilege, and I look forward to using it and working on different aspects of my game.
Being here before classes started was nice. I was able to wake up and do whatever I wanted. It was real laid back and comfortable.
I'm not on top of my game right now, but it feels like it's getting back to where I want it to be.
I've been in Bloomington since Aug. 20, and I'm living on the second floor at Foster Harper right below the other freshman on the team. It's an awesome setup and really nice.
I'm very ready for the season. I'm anxious for it to start and looking forward to it.
The team is awesome. We have had a couple of days where 10 of us have gone out and played the course. It's been a lot of fun, and I can't wait to get to a tournament to see what college golf is all about.
