Hoosiers in the NCAA Ranks

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana volleyball team's continued commitment to an intimidating presence at the net has shown in its ranking amongst the elite programs in the nation. The Hoosiers currently enjoy favorable standings in block categories in the recently released first run of NCAA statistics.

The squad is seventh in the nation in blocks per game with 3.67 with top-ranked Nebraska's 4.46 blocks leading the country.

Meanwhile, sophomore middle blocker Annie Moddrell is 10th in the nation with a 1.89 blocks per game average, while Nebraska's Melissa Elmer paces the country with 3.00 blocks per game.

The Hoosiers will look to add to those totals at the Winthrop Invitational in Rock Hill, S.C., this weekend against Furman, North Florida and Winthrop.
