BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana head coach Terry Hoeppner will be the featured speaker at the Sept. 26 Teachers Credit Union IU Luncheon Series at the Columbia Club in downtown Indianapolis. The luncheon series is in its second season and offers Hoosier fans the perfect opportunity to hear from IU athletics staff and coaches.
Hoeppner has made an immediate impact in his debut season in Bloomington. Not only are the Hoosiers off to a 1-0 start as they prepare to host Nicholls State on Sept. 10 at 4 p.m., but the nation's eighth-winningest active coach in terms of winning percentage has helped fuel a substantial increase in season ticket sales.
However, complacency is not in Hoeppner's vocabulary.
"We are just scratching the surface of what we can do as a program on and off the field," Hoeppner said. "From day one, I have told my players to start walking, talking, acting and thinking like champions. I am so proud of their effort and attitude, and as a Hoosier native (Fort Wayne), I am so proud to be the head coach at The Indiana University."
