No. 13 Indiana Falls at Iowa

IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) -- Adam Haluska scored 20 points, Greg Brunner added 17 and Iowa opened the second half with a 14-0 run in a 73-60 victory over No. 13 Indiana on Tuesday night.
The Hawkeyes (15-5, 4-2 Big Ten) held the Hoosiers to their lowest point total of the season and improved to 3-0 at home against Top 25 teams this season.
Iowa, coming off a 30-point loss at Michigan State on Saturday that knocked them out of the Top 25, responded with perhaps its best effort of the season.
The Hawkeyes held Indiana, which came into the game second in the nation in field goal percentage at 51.6, to 37 percent shooting.
Robert Vaden was 8-for-12 from 3-point range and had a career-high 26 points for the Hoosiers (12-4, 4-2), who played without guard Marshall Strickland because of a knee injury. Marco Killingsworth had 10 points and six rebounds for Indiana.
Indiana's previous low was 62 points, which it tallied in each of its last two games.
Jeff Horner scored 13 points for Iowa and Erek Hansen added 11.
Strickland, the team's third leading scorer at 12.3 points per game, was held out as a precaution after hurting his right knee Saturday against Purdue. The injury is not thought to be serious.
Vaden hit two 3-pointers in a span of 8 seconds to make it 64-57 with 1:26 left. The Hawkeyes iced the game with nine free throws and a 3-pointer by Roderick Wilmont.
Indiana cut a 44-27 deficit to eight points midway through the second half. But Horner hit a 3-pointer for Iowa, and Indiana coach Mike Davis -- frustrated all night with the officials -- was charged with a technical foul on the Hoosiers' next trip down court.
Mike Henderson started Iowa's decisive run with two baskets, and Horner followed a block by Hansen with a 3-pointer to put the Hawkeyes ahead 39-27. Haluska then made a tough layup, and Brunner capped the stretch with a 3 that gave Iowa a 17-point lead with 15:40 left.
The Hawkeyes never trailed in the first half, but the Hoosiers rallied to close within 30-27 at halftime. Led by two 3-pointers by Vaden, Indiana outscored the Hawkeyes 11-4 over the final 4:13 of the half.
Iowa scored the game's first seven points, and led by as much as 26-16 following a 3-pointer by Haluska.
