Has placed in the top five six times this season ... shaved more than two seconds off his 100-yard breaststroke time, while currint his 200-yard breaststroke time by more than eight seconds.
Prep/Personal
A seven-time All-American ... won both the 100 LCM and 200 LCM breast titles at the Speedo Junior National Championships in Irvine, Calif., in 2005 ... finished 10th in the 200 LCM breast and 12th in the 100 LCM breast at the 2005 Senior National Championships ... led Sycamore to four consecutive conference championships during his time in the prep ranks ... placed second in the 100 breast and eighth in the 200 IM at the state championships his senior season ... finished fifth in the 100 breast at the U.S. Open in San Antonio, Texas ... competed at the World Championship Trials in Indianapolis ... a three-year letterwinner in water polo ... paced his team to a regional championship as a three-time member of the all-state first team ... water polo also runs in his family as sister Jaclyn just completed her sophomore season for the Hoosiers ... graduated with high honors ... served in the German Club and the Student-Athlete Leadership Team ... son of Heidi and Gary Tameris.
