How to balance activities, and manage my time.
Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
My uncle. He's always given me words of wisdom. Also, he was a professional athlete, so I look up to him and how he managed his life. He helps me out with everything, and he's always been there for me.
What is your favorite soccer memory?
Participating in the 2005 FIFA Under-17 World Cup. The atmosphere was incredible, and the opportunity to represent your country on the highest level was awesome. We played against North Korea, Ivory Coast, Italy and the Netherlands. We lost to the Netherlands and I broke my leg, which was not a highlight, but the World Cup in general was.
The teammate I most admire is who, and why?
Ofori Sarkodie. He's very professional and I've always been close to him, so I have had the opportunity to watch how he creates his own success, and try to do the same for myself.
Why did you start playing soccer?
It was an instinct. The neighborhood soccer team was put together and it accelerated from there.
What is your role on the team?
To try to bring speed and mobility and get behind people, and add a spark to the offense and defense.
What makes Indiana special from any other program?
The level of support from everyone. How highly regarded Indiana soccer is here, and the great atmosphere. I figured it would be one of the best possible places to play in the country when I decided to come here.
My favorite thing about Bloomington is:
It's a college town.
What are your pre-game rituals or superstitions?
I do have a lot of rituals. I have to get dressed at a certain time, I have to wear certain things. I have to put my shin guards on once I'm on the field, as well as my hair tie. I have to talk to myself and say certain things to myself before each game.
