Brown Featured on NCAA On Campus

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Junior field hockey midfielder Meredith Brown will be featured on NCAA On Campus, the monthly television show that features student-athlete accomplishments and Association news. The segment featuring Brown airs on Wednesday, Oct. 18, on ESPN Classic at 1:30 p.m. (ET) and will be re-aired throughout the week on ESPNU. Additionally, the show can be viewed in its entirety on www.ncaa.org
Brown will be featured in the "Beyond the Athlete" segment for her successes both on and off the field. The Elkton, Md., native is leading the 13-3 IU field hockey team in assists with nine, while recently having a poem she wrote published in the 2005 edition of Chicken Soup for the Girls Soul: Real Stories by Real Girls about Real Stuff. The poem entitled "All Around the World" is the lead-in page for the entire motivational book.
