Inside The Landfall Tradition

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University men's golf team heads to The Landfall Tradition in Wilmington, N.C., from Friday - Sunday, Oct. 27-29, to close out the fall portion of its 2006-07 season. UNC Wilmington will host the event at the Jack Nicklaus Course at the Country Club of Landfall. This will be the first time that the Hoosiers have competed in the event.
The event consists of three rounds, with 18 holes played on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Along with Indiana and UNC Wilmington, 10 other teams will comprise the field. Big Ten rivals Purdue and Ohio State join the Hoosiers in the field, which will be rounded out by Kansas, Maryland, Memphis, Missouri, Tulsa, VCU, Virginia Tech and Xavier.
Tournament play begins Friday with tee times beginning at 8:17 a.m. (EST) with the second round beginning at the same time on Saturday. On Sunday, the final round will commence at 7:30 a.m.
