Kyle Named Big Ten Runner of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Freshman Jordan Kyle earned his first Big Ten Runner of the Week honor after winning his first career individual title and leading Indiana to the George Mason Invitational title on Sept. 30.
Kyle clocked a personal-best 24:45.36 in the 8K at the Mason Invite. He was a 20-second winner over teammate Brennon Plotner and the field of 133 runners, which helped the Hoosiers score a winning total of 23 points - 36 more than second-place Charlotte.
Kyle is the first Hoosier harrier to earn the league weekly honor since Sean Jefferson on Sept. 21, 2004.
