Gall Earns Big Ten Sportsmanship Honor

Senior All-American Jessica Gall earned second team All-Big Ten honors at the Big Ten Championships on Oct. 29.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Senior Jessica Gall earned Big Ten Sportsmanship honors for cross country announced by the league on Nov. 2.

Gall, one of 21 cross country student-athletes that were honored by the Big Ten, is now a candidates for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award, as the conference office will honor one male and one female student-athlete from each institution at the end of the school year.

Gall, a two-time All-American, paced Indiana for a fifth consecutive race and finished 10th overall with a time of 21:01 in the 6K at Big Ten Championships. Her effort garnered her second team All-Big Ten honors.

Gall and the rest of the Hoosiers will be back in action next weekend when they travel to the Great Lakes Regional in Bowling Green, Ohio on Nov. 11.
