Nov. 27-Dec. 3, 1988 - Indiana's men's soccer team beat Seton Hall, 3-1, on Nov. 27 to advance to the NCAA Final Four in Bloomington. The Hoosiers then topped Portland on Dec. 3, 1-0, to move on to the championship game, eventually winning their third NCAA title.
Nov. 28, 1992 - Jill Kerkhoff set a school record with nine aces as Indiana's volleyball team topped Michigan State, 4-0, in the season finale.
Nov. 29, 1975 - The Hoosiers' men's basketball team opened its season with an 84-64 over No. 2 UCLA in St. Louis. The win was the first of a 32-0 season, the last undefeated campaign in NCAA Division I. The Hoosiers would go on to defeat UCLA again in the Final Four en route to their third NCAA title.
Nov. 30, 1991 - Indiana's women's basketball team topped Liberty at home, 97-46. The 51-point margin of victory stands as the eighth-most lopsided win in IU history.
Dec. 2, 2005 - Swimmer Colin Russell set the school record in the 200-yard freestyle as the 11th-ranked Hoosiers topped No. 17 Northwestern, 161-139, in a dual meet. Russell's mark of 1:35.50 erased his own previous record, which he had set the season before.
