Oyler Named to the Big Ten All-Tournament Team

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Junior midfielder Amanda Oyler was named to the 2006 Big Ten All-Tournament team the conference announced on Nov. 5. The honor is Oyler's first league accolade.
Oyler helped the Hoosiers to a 14-5 overall record and a 4-2 mark in conference play in 2006. The Fleetwood, Pa., product scored her first career goal this season against Lindenwood on Oct. 8. Additionally, she registered a pair of assists this season, while making seven starts for the Hoosiers.
The Hoosiers will now wait for the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Committee's 2006 NCAA Tournament decisions coming on Tuesday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. (EST). The selection show will be aired nationally on CSTV.
