Mickie Leibacher Named IU Athletics' Employee of the Month

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Mickie Leibacher, a computer support technician with the Indiana Athletics Information Services, earned IU Athletics' Employee of the Month honors for November. Leibacher is the award's first honoree.
Most recently, Leibacher was fundamental in making Indiana's media relations and marketing department's move to their new office space in Mellencamp Pavilion a smooth one.
Leibacher has worked in Athletics Information Services in her current capacity since March of 2003 and has been employed by the department since 2001. Her primary role is to assist athletic department members with tech support as needed, in particular, she is the point person for presentation support, phones and PDAs and trouble shooting.
Leibacher is known for her creative ideas and sense of humor. She is active in the community by supporting various breast cancer awareness programs. When away from the office, Leibacher enjoys football, hiking and camping.
The award is given out once a month to the IU Athletics employee who constantly goes above and beyond the call of duty for the betterment of the entire department.
