Women's Soccer to Host Indoor Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's soccer team opens its spring schedule on Feb. 25, hosting the Indiana Indoor Tournament at Mellencamp Pavilion on the campus of Indiana University. The Hoosiers welcome a handful of collegiate programs to the event as well as a contingent of club teams from Ohio and the Chicago area.
The participating teams at this weekends indoor event includes collegiate programs such as Butler, Kentucky, Louisville and Southern Indiana, while club squads include America's Soccer Club, Cleveland Cobras, KUFC, Dynamo FC and Javanon.
Indiana opens play at 8 a.m. on Saturday against Kentucky, followed by a match against the Cleveland Cobras at 1 p.m. and Louisville at 6 p.m.
The Hoosiers look to use the weekend as a great start to its spring schedule which features two tournaments, including this weekends festivities, and four scheduled match ups against club and collegiate opponents.
