Loring On the Tennessee Matchup

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 31 Indiana women's tennis team looks to capture its second victory over a ranked opponent this season against No. 28 Tennessee on Saturday, Feb. 25. The match is slated to begin at 10 a.m., at the Indiana Tennis Center.
Hoosier head coach Lin Loring, college tennis' all-time winningest coach, shares his thoughts on the weekend's showdown.
On No. 28 Tennessee and what the Hoosier will have to do to get a win:
LL: "Tennessee is very good. They will be favored but it will be a battle. If our entire team plays well this is match, we can win."
On Indiana's doubles play so far this season:
LL: "Our doubles play has been solid all year. The doubles point will be really important if we are going to win the match over Tennessee. We need to capitalize on one of our strengths."
On the play of freshman Sigrid Fischer and sophomore Brianna Williams:
LL: "Both Brianna and Sigrid have been playing very solid tennis every time out this season. Win or lose, their performances have been very consistent."
