Hoosiers Hold Steady at No. 32

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's tennis team maintained its national ranking. In the Jan. 31 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), the Hoosiers held steady at No. 32. After five dual matches, IU boasts a 4-1 overall record.
This season, Indiana has faced two ranked opponents in No. 13 Duke and No. 50 Western Michigan and is slated to take on 11 more before the end of the season. Additionally, IU is one of six Big Ten teams that garnered a national ranking. Northwestern (No. 4), Michigan (No. 35), Purdue (No. 40), Iowa (No. 43), Illinois (No. 48) and Wisconsin (No. 52) all joined the Hoosiers in the ITA rankings.
IU is back in action on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 10 a.m., against Marquette and on Sunday, Feb. 12 against DePaul at 10 a.m., and Butler at 3 p.m. All matches will be held at the Indiana Tennis Center.
