2006-2007 Student Athletic Board Directors Announced

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - IU Athletics has selected Student Athletic Board (SAB) Area Directors for the 2006-2007 academic year. Student Athletic Board is IU Athletics' link to the student body, providing spirit and support for each of IU's 24 varsity sports, as well as important campus events such as Homecoming, Parents Weekend and Hoosier Hysteria.
This year's Student Athletic Board Area Directors are:
Ryan Nietert, President (New Haven, Ind.)
Lesley Koza, Vice President (Lowell, Ind.)
Mallory Haines, Secretary (Indianapolis, Ind.)
Tim Klausmeier, Treasurer (Fort Wayne, Ind.)
Abbey Albright (Lawrenceburg, Ind.)
Patrick Burns (Monticello, Ind)
Patrick Galvin (Chesterton, Ind.)
Chris Gatchel (Wabash, Ind.)
Lauren Hargesheimer (Arlington Heights, Ill.)
Tim Hawkins (Greenwood, Ind.)
Chris Mitseff (Valparaiso, Ind.)
Ryan Moore (Indianapolis, Ind.)
Casey Pierrard (Tell City, Ind.)
Zach Rigney (Mishawaka, Ind.)
Joey Varnau (Kokomo, Ind.)
Student Athletic Board members are highly visible at many IU Athletics events, including leading the Crimson Crew at football games, cheering on the Women's basketball team as part of `Versyp's Bleacher Creatures,' running events such as Hoosier Hysteria or the pep rally prior to the Nov. 30 Indiana-Duke game and numerous other events.
