Miller Continues to Shine at Indiana Senior State

CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - Freshman A.J. Miller continued to shine during the final day of preliminary action at the 2006 Indiana Senior State Championships in Crawfordsville, Ind., on March 12. He posted the top qualifying time in the 100-yard butterfly, while many incoming signees recorded solid outings.
In the 200-yard backstroke, incoming freshmen Tyler McGowan and Christopher Head finished back-to-back in 35th and 36th place. McGowan clocked a time of 2:04.14, while Head posted a 2:04.57.
In the 100-yard butterfly, Miller continued his sterling performance at the meet with a top time of 50.51. Meanwhile, incoming signee Drew Sease recorded the 10th-best time of the morning with a 52.00, while McGowan notched a 24th-place 53.31. Freshman Matt O'Neal touched in 26th with a 53.42, while Head finished 34th in 54.16.
