Fagan Secures Third All-America Certificate

Fagan claimed his third career All-America certificate with 15th on the one-meter at NCAAs.

ATLANTA - Senior Ryan Fagan claimed his third All-America certificate during the one-meter competition at the 2006 NCAA Championships in Atlanta, Ga., on March 23. The Pittsburgh, Pa., product strung together a 15th-place 289.65 during preliminary action.

Consequently, Fagan became the first Hoosier to score in three consecutive NCAA meets since former IU standout Mike Collier did some in four straight national competitions from 1996-99.

Meanwhile, sophomore Taylor Roberts placed 34th with a 240.30 tally in his initial NCAA competition.

Next up, the Hoosiers will compete in the 500-yard freestyle and 400-yard medley relay consolation heats at 7 p.m.
