No. 26 Hoosiers Claim Highest Ranking of the Season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's tennis team earned its highest ranking of the year at the No. 26 slot as announced by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) on March 28.
En route to the No. 26 ranking, the Hoosiers defeated three consecutive ranked opponents in then-No. 68 Louisville (5-2), then-No. 33 Purdue (5-2) and then-No. 59 Illinois.
So far this season, the highest Indiana had been ranked was No. 27 on Feb. 28, 2006. Moreover, the ranking is the Hoosiers' highest since they earned the No. 25 nod on March 1, 2005.
