What's In My Bag? - Tiffany Hockensmith

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - IUHOOSIERS.com recently asked each member of the Indiana women's golf team what clubs they carry around the links. In the upcoming weeks, each IU golfer will let us take a look inside what is in their bags. Freshman Tiffany Hockensmith, a native of Bloomington, Ind., is next up.
Overall
TH - I absolutely love my clubs, especially my wedges and putter. Last spring I got new Ping I-3+ irons and really love them. I have absolute confidence in all my clubs, which allows me to trust my swing.
Putter
TH - I have a 2003 Scotty Cameron Newport 1.5 Prototype. There were only 2003 made so it's very unique. My dad bought the putter for me I think for Christmas of 2003. I loved the look and feel of the putter from the moment I saw it. I got it customized with my initials and a new red grip this fall. I couldn't imagine having any other putter.
Woods
TH - My driver is a Cobra 380 that I've had since my junior year in high school. I love the way the face feels when I hit it. My fairway woods are TaylorMade with graphite shafts. I have a 3-wood, 5-wood, and 7-wood. My 7-wood is one of my favorite clubs. Both my 7-wood and 5-wood are always comfortable for me to hit in any situation necessary.
Irons
TH - I have Ping I-3+ irons with graphite shafts. I have 4-iron to pitching wedge. My favorite iron would have to be either my 8-iron or my 7-iron. My 7-iron gives me a lot of confidence in high-pressure situations. My 5-iron and 6-iron are favorites for punch shots. My best shots have come from my 7-iron when I needed to work the ball.
Wedges
TH - I have a 56-degree Cleveland stainless steel sand wedge and a 51-degree Cleveland gap wedge. I always feel comfortable with my wedges with any shot under 90 yards. I can perform almost any shot my mind can come with that is necessary, which is a huge benefit for making pars.
Ball
TH - I use the Titleist Pro V1x. I love the way it feels on the green and the distance and spin I get.
