IU Soccer Closes Spring Season

Hoosiers conclude spring schedule against Butler.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's soccer team will conclude its 2006 spring schedule with a game against in-state rival Butler on April 19, in Indianapolis. The Hoosiers are putting a close to a solid spring schedule that featured tough opponents and great opportunities for Indiana to prepare for the 2006 season.

The Butler match will be held at North Central High School. North Central, in conjunction with Special Olympics, is offering a pair collegiate soccer games, featuring both the IU men and women's soccer programs.

The IU's women's squad will take on Butler at 6:30 p.m., before the IU men's soccer team will also take on Butler at 7 p.m., on April 25, with all proceeds going to benefit Special Olympics.
