BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The second-annual Indiana Football Women's Clinic will be held on Saturday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the Hoosiers' football complex in Memorial Stadium. Cost for the clinic is $25 per person, and it includes offensive and defensive tutorials with the IU coaching staff, a fashion show featuring the 2006 Indiana uniforms, a facilities tour, including the locker room and a raffle with great local prizes. All proceeds benefit Jill's House, a local charity that provides residence for cancer patients and their caregivers near the Indiana University Cyclotron.
Indiana head coach Terry Hoeppner said that the clinic drew more than 100 participants last summer, and he is looking for even more involvement this summer.
"Anything we can do to reach out is a plus for us," Hoeppner said. " Last year, women came up to me and said that these things are always for the men, so finally we are providing something for them too. This also is going to a good cause, with all the benefits going to Jill's House."
For more information on the clinic, please call Mike Yeager or B.J. Ferrand at 812-855-9618.
