Women's Soccer to Host Outdoor Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana women's soccer team continues its spring schedule on April 9, hosting the Indiana Outdoor Tournament at Yeagley Field at Armstrong Stadium. The Hoosiers play a pair of games, opening the day against Miami (Ohio) at noon, followed by a matchup against Ball State at 3:30 p.m.
Also featured at the Indiana Home Tournament will be FC Pride, a local club team. Ball State will play FC Pride at noon on the women's soccer practice field located behind the University Gymnasium on 10th and the bypass, while Miami (Ohio) will face the local club team on the same field at 3:30 p.m.
The event marks the first outdoor tournament for the Hoosiers this spring and will give Indiana a chance to work in players that will see some pivotal playing time during the 2006 season.
