BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - With the season sweep of Purdue in softball on May 6-7, the Hoosiers clinched the 2005-06 AT&T Crimson and Gold Cup, also presented by Simon Malls. With two more points available in outdoor track and field, the Hoosiers hold a three-point advantage, 10.5-7.5, in the rivalry series.

The win marks the second consecutive season for the Hoosiers, after capturing the series 12-8 in last year's competition. The victory also is the fourth time in the six-year history of the Cup that the Hoosiers will hold onto the trophy.
