Throughout the 2006 preseason, IUHOOSIERS.com will be taking an insider's look at the women's soccer team. Each day from Aug. 8-23, a different member of the team will be keeping a diary of the day's events. The entry for Friday, Aug. 11 is by redshirt freshman Becky Prokopiak:
So another day of preseason. Bring it on!
Although at times our legs may get tired it's always worth it in the end. I have a really good feeling about our team this year. The freshmen already seem to fit in and are playing awesome. As for us returners we just keep getting closer and closer which will ultimately help our movement and rhythm of play on the field.
Preseason is only the beginning, and with one year under my belt I'm ready for more, but first I'm going to get something to eat at training tables, I'm a little hungry.
