BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The No. 10 Indiana field hockey team will close the preseason slate with an exhibition match against No. 14 Louisville on Aug. 22 at Trager Stadium. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.

The Louisville match will serve as a final tune-up for the season opener at Virginia on Aug. 26. The Hoosiers and the Cardinals will meet in the regular season on Friday, Oct. 6 back in Louisville.

IU won its first preseason scrimmage against in-state foe Ball State on Aug. 18. Led by junior Kate O'Connell's hat trick, the Hoosiers topped the Cardinals, 5-3, in Muncie, Ind.
