Hoosiers Set for Home Opener Against Central Michigan

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Come cheer on the No. 14 Indiana field hockey team at its 2006 home opener against Central Michigan on Friday, Sept. 15. The Hoosiers will take on the Chippewas at 3 p.m. (ET) in Mellencamp Pavilion.
Indiana enters the contest riding a five-game winning streak and owns a record of 5-1. CMU comes to Bloomington with a 3-1 mark so far in 2006.
Central Michigan and Indiana are meeting for the fourth time, with IU holding a 2-1 advantage in the all-time series.
The Hoosiers will return to Mellencamp Pavilion on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 1 p.m., to square off against Maine.
