Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Hopefully still playing soccer. I'm not sure where at, whether in the United States or outside the country, but I hope that I'm still playing.
Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why?
Definitely my parents, they've taught me everything I know about life. My dad taught me everything I know about soccer. They've given me everything I've ever needed, all the support, everything.
The best thing about Indiana is:
The soccer tradition. The Hoosiers have done so much in 32 years. It's definitely the most prestigious place to play soccer. When I leave, I'll miss coming out every day and being able to play with the best players in the nation.
How would you describe your five years here?
Quick, really quick. By far the most memorable five years of my life.
Why do you wear number 10?
Growing up, I was always number ten. It was always my favorite number. Ever since I was a little boy I've worn that number, and I've always wanted it here.
What do you like best about Coach Freitag?
He is an amazing coach. He's so knowledgeable about the game, he knows how to get stuff done, and how to motivate the team.
What is your favorite childhood memory?
My dad would always take me out and we'd play soccer, just me and him. It was a lot of fun.
What is your favorite soccer memory?
Winning the national championship in 2003 and 2004. That memory is amazing.
What are your goals for this year?
To bring the team together to have the best season possible. Getting everyone on the same page and having everyone play the best soccer possible.
Something that many people don't know about you is:
I like ceramics. I enjoy making stuff with clay.
