Robson Named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Senior forward Kevin Robson was named Big Ten Co-Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced today.
"I am happy that Kevin has been recognized by the Big Ten," head coach Mike Freitag said. "He has saved some of his best play for his senior year, and is a fierce competitor for us. Kevin's not afraid to go after the ball and make a play."
Robson scored both of Indiana's goals in the Hoosiers' 2-2 draw with Michigan in the Big Ten opener on Sunday, Sept. 24. He scored the first goal of the game after teammate Darren Yeagle was taken out in the box, and Robson made the subsequent penalty kick in the 34th minute.
Robson's second goal came in the 68th minute, as he shot a liner from 25 yards out into the upper right corner of the net.
He is currently tied for the team lead with nine points (three goals, three assists), and has also been a key player defensively for Indiana.
Indiana returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 27, when it will take on Kentucky at 7 p.m.
