CINCINNATI, Ohio - Three Indiana men's players won in singles to close out the final day of the Cincinnati Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 24.
Junior Dara McLoughlin picked up a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Wisconsin's Gian Hodgson, while junior Michael McCarthy won 6-3, 7-6 against Mike Bisnow of Wisconsin. Senior David Bubenicek defeated Doug Matthews of Xavier 6-2, 6-2.
In doubles action, Bubenicek and McLoughlin paired up for a 8-4 win over Saurabh Kohli and Basu Ratnam of Boston University.
The Hoosiers return to action at the Midwest Regional, Oct. 19-24, hosted by Minnesota. The team also hosts the Hoosier Invitational Oct. 20-22.
